Learning Through Exploration, Discovery & Play
At Little Bergen Academy, our curriculum is inspired by The Creative Curriculum®, a research-based, comprehensive approach to early childhood education that nurtures the whole child through meaningful, hands-on learning experiences. We believe that children learn best through exploration, discovery, play, and positive relationships with caring teachers and their peers.
Our curriculum is designed to promote growth across all areas of development, including social-emotional, physical, cognitive, and language development. Through carefully planned learning experiences, children build confidence, independence, creativity, and critical thinking skills while developing a lifelong love of learning.

Ages 2½
2½-Year-Old Program
A gentle introduction to the school environment, focused on building trust, independence, and early social skills through sensory play, exploration, and nurturing relationships with caring teachers.
Ages 3–4
3 & 4-Year-Old Program
Hands-on discovery, creative arts, early literacy, and math concepts delivered through engaging, play-based activities that build confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning.
Pre-K
Pre-Kindergarten
A structured, enriching curriculum that prepares children academically, socially, and emotionally for a confident and successful transition to kindergarten.
